LEGO Icons Retro Radio (10334) Officially Announced

LEGO has continued with reveals of new sets and this is for the LEGO Icons Retro Radio (10334). Releasing on June 1 for Insiders, the set has 906 pieces and retails for $99.99. It features an old school radio from the 50s and 60s and includes functions such as a dial for the on/off switch and even a soundbrick for pre-recorded sounds.

9th May 2024: Today the LEGO Group unveils the LEGO® Icons Retro Radio set, a nostalgic nod to the iconic music styles of the 1950s and 1960s. The retro radio promises a delightful voyage through musical time, combining vintage charm with contemporary functionality.

This 906-piece set brings the summer vibes and offers a unique and novel experience to music, art and nostalgia aficionados. Once the build is complete, the build features a dial to turn the sound on/off or switch between different pre-recorded sounds in soundbrick – mimicking a real retro radio. With a modern twist, music fans can insert and hide a mobile phone via the radio’s back panel to play tunes.

Transport back to the 1950s and 1960s, eras that became powerful forms of expression and creativity. With vintage decoration and vibrant colours, the retro radio integrates seamlessly with today’s modern interior making this set a captivating decorative centrepiece and the perfect gift for any occasion.

LEGO Alien Space Diner (40687) Gift with Purchase Revealed

LEGO has revealed a new gift with purchase set coming soon called the Alien Space Diner (40687). It has 239 pieces and it features a small alien diner and it includes two astronaut minifigures, a white one and an orange one. There’s no details yet on when it will be released or what the price requirements.

Feed creativity at the LEGO® Space Diner (40687), a cool space toy for kids aged 6 and up who have an appetite for intergalactic adventures. Featuring 2 astronaut minifigures, the set is bursting with role-play opportunities. LEGO Ideas Claw Machine Achieves 10,000 Supporters

Claw Machine by 2A2A is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build features a working claw machine that uses motors and gears to move the claw mechanism. The project is the first to reach the Second 2024 Review Stage.

LEGO has officially revealed two of Paris’ most recognizable pieces of art with the LEGO Art Mona Lisa (31213) and the LEGO Architecture Notre-Dame de Paris (21061). Both available for pre-order starting today, the Mona Lisa has 1,503 pieces and retails for $99.99 while the Notre Dame has 4,383 pieces and retails for $229.99.

LEGO DREAMZzz Season 2 Press Release

LEGO has released a press release for Season 2 of LEGO DREAMZzz which airs worldwide on May 17. The second half of the season will follow in September. LEGO has also announced the accompanying sets that will be releasing in August. The press release mentions nine sets but we only have details of eight of them which we’ve already seen. Star Wars has announced a new “four-piece” (get it?) animated special called LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy which airs on Disney+ on September 13. Space and time is fall apart and the building blocks of the galaxy are getting mixed up.
